Honor Knitting

Today, I knit in honor of my friend Bekah's mom, who died two years ago on this day. She was a crocheter, and I inherited part of her amazing stash. I am making a hat, with the Red Sprinkles Wool-Ease from her stash.

I hope to finish the hat today, and give it to Bekah on Monday, for her to donate to whomever she chooses.

Here is the pattern I am using: http://www.knitscene.com/projects/earflaphats.pdf

And here are Bekah and Barb.

This picture was taken when Bekah directed

"An American Daughter"

I was her assistant director.

Bekah thinks Barb is amazing! It's good to have a friend who not only understands how hard a day it is, but who goes out of her way to honor my mother's memory. Thank you.
